In 2025 he became German junior pairs champion and represented Germany at six Junior Grand Prix events and two Junior World Championships (Calgary & Taipei). After his competitive career at the Oberstdorf national training centre, he now passes on his knowledge as a coach while studying sports management. Tobija teaches all ages and levels, from first steps to advanced elements, specialising in power skating and jumps. With targeted off-ice athletic training in strength and plyometrics, he prepares the body for the demands and dynamics of the sport. Creating a healthy, motivating environment where everyone reaches their goals with lots of fun is especially important to him.

Katja Bögelsack
Katja (née Schubert) competed in pair skating with her brother Knut Schubert in Berlin from 1964 to 1977.
