Who can I contact if I have any questions?
You can contact us at any time at info@skate-media.com or via the contact form. We’ll reply as soon as possible – we’re unable to respond reliably to enquiries via social media.
Where is the SKATE Wear turn table manufactured?
Our SKATE Wear turn table was designed by Kat and is handmade in Hanover.
Where can I buy or have my ice skates sharpened?
Based on our own experience, we recommend the specialist shop Skate & Glide in Berlin.
Membership
Is there an SKATE Club membership?
Yes! You’re very welcome to join our SKATE Club member community. Membership costs €85 per year or €8.00 per month.
How do I benefit as an SKATE Club member?
You’ll receive a 10% discount on events, a €15 discount per 60 minutes on private lessons (on and off the ice), regular discounts in the shop, priority on waiting lists and an exclusive annual members’ event.
As a member, do I have my own account?
Yes – you can log in to the website and your discounts will be applied automatically when you make a booking.
Camps & Booking
As an adult, can I take part in SKATE Club events?
Absolutely!!! Our SKATE Club events are aimed at young people (aged 13 and over) and adult runners – our oldest participants are 70 years old.
Can I take part as a beginner?
Absolutely! That’s the basic idea behind the SKATE Club. You just need to be able to skate on your own.
I’m already doing double jumps – am I doing it right?
Yes! That’s what SKATE Club Advanced is for. At regular camps, the focus is on single jumps and technique.
How old do I need to be?
You must be at least 13 years old to take part in our regular ice-skating events and camps.
Where do the events take place?
In various cities across Germany, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. You can find all the dates in the ticket shop!
Can I book private lessons at the camps?
Yes – subject to availability, you can book and pay for private lessons directly online when you purchase your ticket. You’ll receive the schedule for your private lessons by email around 2–3 days before the event.
Do I need my own ice skates?
No. You can hire ice skates at the ice rink for the standard fee – but we recommend bringing your own.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Yes! If you can’t make it, simply enter the new participant’s details on the website.
Will I get a refund if I can’t take part?
No, we do not refund tickets unless we have to cancel the event. Cancellations will be credited as shop credit.
Do I have to book my own accommodation and travel arrangements?
Yes – each participant is responsible for organising their own accommodation, travel to and from the event, and meals.
How many participants are there per event?
Between 25 and 30 on average.
Can I return digital products?
In accordance with Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for digital products – including membership subscriptions, vouchers or similar content.
Can I return products from the shop?
Yes, you can request a refund directly via your order: open your order summary and select the refund option.
Digital content & loyalty points
Where can I buy a gift card?
You can buy a gift card worth €25 or more from our online shop and ticket shop. You’ll receive the code by email.
What is the Digital Coach?
You submit video recordings of your elements and receive corrective feedback with suggestions for exercises via WhatsApp or email.
How do I collect loyalty points?
You earn loyalty points with every purchase – you receive 1 point for every €1 spent. Points can be exchanged for vouchers.
