Level & Age at SKATE Club Camps
Group 1:
Learning how to walk forwards and backwards, braking, transferring and first turns on two feet.
Group 2:
For all those practicing triple steps, mohawks, first single jumps and first one-foot pirouettes.
Group 3:
For everyone, single jumps, possibly practise Axel and first double jumps, various pirouettes, difficult steps such as Twizzel, loops, backwards triples, turns etc.
Target group:
The camps are mainly aimed at adults. Minimum age is 13 years. There is a separate "SKATE Club KIDS" offer for children. Age will be checked on admission. No refunds will be given for incorrect details, as tickets could have been sold elsewhere.
The coaching team

Kat Miles
Kat is a licensed figure skating coach, fitness and personal trainer and athletic trainer for competitive sports. She was a competitive athlete in singles and pairs skating (Olympic squad), show skater for various show formats worldwide as well as a professional skater and trainer on the TV program "Dancing on Ice" on SAT1 (seasons 1 and 2) alongside Detlef Soost and Peer Kusmagk. Kat runs the SKATE Club YouTube channel.
Rita Koen
Rita comes from Amsterdam and has the highest coaching license in the Netherlands. In addition to her students, she also teaches new coaches in the Netherlands. Rita was a competitive skater herself and placed third twice at the Dutch Championships. For the past 30 years, she has enjoyed teaching skating to everyone from beginners to seniors, and she regularly instructs at adult camps such as the SKATE Club or in Oberstdorf. In addition to Dutch, she also speaks German, English, and some French.
Florian Just
Florian was the first German to win a Junior Grand Prix in singles skating and competed in the Junior World Championships. He also represented Germany in pairs skating at several European and World Championships. He began his coaching career at the national training center in Dortmund and obtained his coaching licenses up to the A license. He then worked as a national training center coach for young talent and juniors for the German Skating Union. As a coach, he led athletes to junior and senior Grand Prix competitions in both singles and pairs skating. They qualified and competed in Junior World Championships, European Championships, and World Championships. Oberstdorf is also his current place of work, where he coaches athletes of all categories in singles and pairs skating.
Important note on pricing & hotel bookings
The price only includes the costs for the use of the ice rink and the organized training. Private training, meals, hotel accommodation and travel to and from the event are not included and must be organized and paid for by the participants themselves if required.
