Levels & Ages at SKATE Club Camps

Group 1:
Learning to skate forwards and backwards, braking, cross-steps and first spins on two feet. 

Group 2:
For everyone practising triple steps, Mohawks, first single jumps and first one-foot pirouettes.

Group 3:
For those practising single jumps, possibly the Axel and first double jumps, various pirouettes, and difficult steps such as twizzles, loops, backwards triples, turns, etc.

Target group:

The camps are primarily aimed at adults. The minimum age is 13. Age will be checked on entry. No refunds will be given in the event of false information, as tickets could have been sold to others.

The coaching team

Kat Miles
Licensed figure skating coach, fitness and personal trainer, and athletic trainer in competitive sport. Former competitive skater in singles and pairs (Olympic squad), international exhibition skater and professional coach on ‘Dancing on Ice’ (SAT1). Head of the SKATE Club YouTube channel.

Florian Just
Florian was the first German to win a Junior Grand Prix in singles and competed at the Junior World Championships. He also represented Germany on several occasions in pairs at European and World Championships. He began his coaching career at the national training centre in Dortmund and obtained coaching licences up to A-level. He was subsequently employed by the German Skating Union as a national training centre coach for young talent and juniors. As a coach, he guided athletes to Junior and Senior Grand Prix events in both singles and pairs. They qualified for and competed in Junior World Championships, European Championships and World Championships. Oberstdorf is also where he currently works, coaching athletes of all categories in singles and pairs skating.

Patricia Kühne
Patricia has been on the ice since she was three years old. Following her successful career in competitive figure skating – including multiple Saxony championships, runner-up in the German Junior Championships and winner of the German Cup – she now works as a coach and choreographer in both competitive and recreational sport. Patricia is currently enjoying a successful career as a show skater. She creates her own ice shows for corporate events and has appeared on camera in productions such as ‘Holiday on Ice’, ‘Phantasialand’, ice shows on cruise ships, and the RTL figure skating series ‘Alles was zählt’.

Important note on pricing & hotel bookings

The price includes only the costs for use of the ice rink and the organised training sessions. Private training, meals, hotel accommodation, and travel to and from the venue are not included and must be organised and paid for by the participants themselves if required.
