The coaching team
(We speak German & English)
Ruben Blommaert
Ruben is a multiple German pair skating champion and has taken part in the European Championships, World Championships and the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeonchang. As a B-license coach in competitive sports, he works nationally and internationally. He works in the disciplines of singles and pairs skating
Lauren Anderson
Lauren grew up in Minnesota, USA and started figure skating at the age of seven. After competing extensively in the US and Canada and receiving her two gold medals in freestyle and moves, Lauren joined "Disney On Ice" where she performed in over 5,000 shows worldwide. During her time on the show, she was the main soloist and adagio skater, understudied in an aerial act on the ice and held the role of "Ladies Line Captain". After her active touring days, Lauren began giving private lessons as well as group classes and also skated on the side with the American Ice Theater. She enjoys working with skaters of all ages and skill levels - from beginner to advanced. Since moving to Germany in 2020, Lauren is excited to be part of the figure skating community and share her passion for the sport.
Lola Wegner
Lola has been working for several years as a licensed figure skating coach, choreographer and qualified dance teacher in popular sports with all age groups in Hanover, where she is still active both as an athlete on the ice (single skating, solo ice dancing) and as a dancer (ballet, contemporary). She used to take part in single skating and show duo competitions and won first place with her partner at the DAT German Open championships.
