Level & Age at SKATE Club Camps

Beginners:
Learn how to walk forwards and backwards, to transfer and first turns on two feet. For all those practicing triple steps, mohawks, single jumps and pirouettes.

Advanced:
Focus on single jumps, possibly Axel and first double jumps.

Target group:
The camps are mainly aimed at adults. Minimum age is 13 years. There is a separate "SKATE Club KIDS" offer for children. Age will be checked on admission. No refunds will be given for incorrect details, as tickets could have been sold elsewhere.

Steffen Hörmann
Steffen has been working as a sought-after choreographer in competitive sports for many years. During his active career, he achieved several German junior titles in individual and pair skating and took part in international Grand Prix's. He was on tour for 10 years with various shows such as Holiday on Ice, Disney on Ice and others. He also worked as a choreographer for the TV program "Dancing on Ice".

Kati Schneider
Kati is one of the most successful German ice dancers of all time, who with her partner René Lohse became German champion several times, third at the World Championships and eighth at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.
Today Kati works as a TV presenter and is occasionally on the ice as a guest coach at the SKATE Club and other ice skating camps.

Katja Bögelsack
Katja (formerly Schubert) was an active pair skater with her brother Knut Schubert in Berlin from 1964 to 1977. Together they took part in the World and European Championships as well as many national and international competitions. Katja has been teaching all levels and age groups since 1985 (Berlin, Hanover, Wedemark). For her, figure skating is the most beautiful sport in the world for young and old.

Important note on pricing & hotel bookings

The price only includes the costs for the use of the ice rink and the organized training. Private training, meals, hotel accommodation and travel to and from the event are not included and must be organized and paid for by the participants themselves if required.
